How do I book my wedding consultation with Millers Floral Design?

We can book you in for a date and time to suit you both, and we can give you our undivided attention!

Where will my wedding consultation be?

We have a lovely dedicated consultation room at our flower studio in Royton, so we can sit down over a cup of coffee and get to know each other. We recommend to allow around an hour for your consultation and there is plenty of free on site parking so you can relax and not have to clock watch! If you live further afield or prefer your consultation to be virtual, we can also happily arrange that.

What should I expect from my wedding consultation?

Your wedding consultation will be fun and relaxed – this is all part of the planning process and we want to make it as easy as possible for you! We will chat through your ideas for your wedding such as styles, colour scheme, favourite flowers, venue, decor and flower budget.

This helps give our wedding florists an overview of your vision, must-haves and preferences for your wedding day.

Helpful information to have on the day:

  • Date of wedding
  • Venue/church/reception information
  • Wedding planner/venue contact details
  • Wedding party – number of bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girls etc
  • Number of guests
  • Basic itinerary of the day
  • Table plans - for example round or long tables, seated or buffet

What can I bring to my wedding consultation?

If you have any favourite photos of wedding flowers, bridal bouquets, styles or colours you have fallen in love with in wedding magazines, Pinterest, Instagram or wedding websites then save them and bring along to your consultation. Colour charts and material swatches of bridal party dresses or suits can also be useful if you have them available.

Some couples at this early stage don’t have any set ideas yet – and that’s absolutely fine! Our wedding florists can give you expert guidance to help you choose flowers and venue decor you will love. Who should I bring to the wedding consultation?

Ideally at the first consultation we would love to meet the happy couple saying ‘I Do’, so we can get a good understanding of your joint wedding vision and get to know your unique story. You may also wish to bring a close family member, such as Mother of the Bride, to offer a helping hand in the decision making.

What happens next?

After our first wedding consultation, you can save the date with Millers Floral Design with a secure deposit. We will then come back to you with a quote based on your flower requirements and once happy book you in!

How much will my wedding flowers cost?

Every wedding is so unique, that's why our wedding flowers service is bespoke for each couple. There are many factors which can impact pricing such as flower seasonality, time of year, number of floral displays, installations and details, wedding party size and extra decor touches. What our team will do though is make suggestions to create wedding flowers you will adore, that fit within your budget, and will give you a clear price quote.

How far in advance should I book my wedding flowers with Millers Floral Design?

Can you work with my other wedding suppliers?

Yew, we are more than happy to coordinate with your other wedding suppliers such as hairstylist, cake maker, reception venue and car hire regarding flower arrangements, set-up and delivery.
